Correct orientation before OCR

Mixed-orientation PDFs are common after scanning a report or photographing loose pages. Rotate only the affected pages so text is upright when you review it and when OCR reads the file during translation.

Turn selected pages left 90°, right 90°, or 180°. Existing page rotation is respected, so another turn adjusts the current view.

Can I rotate just one page in a PDF?
Yes. Clear the selection, tick that page, and choose a turn. Other pages are saved with their original orientation.
Does rotating a PDF run OCR or translate text?
No. This tool changes page orientation and makes a new PDF locally. OCR runs later if you choose to translate a scanned PDF.
Will rotating a scan improve OCR accuracy?
Upright, clear pages are easier to review and generally give OCR a better starting point. Blur, shadows, handwriting, and low contrast can still affect recognition.
Can I fix pages rotated in different directions?
Yes. Rotate one group and download it, then open that result and rotate another group. Each pass can use a different direction.
